After 2 whole years, Geralt and his friends return to the magical world of the charmers.

We'll leave the prologue and go straight in to explain what we liked the most about the first season and what we didn't like.

The ones we liked

•  Geralt (Cavill) was in his performances much better than last season. He showed a willingness to change for the better and finally made it in the second season of The Witcher.
• The dialogues between the protagonists were quite improved compared to the previous season.
• The Witchers' battles with the monsters were amazing with the effects really making a difference.
• Each episode was essentially a stand-alone episode but at the same time, it progressed at a slow pace the story of the series so that the viewer could understand and consolidate the plot. For me personally, in the first season, the script went quite quickly and it left me with quite a few gaps. In the second season, they took it slower and it started to make more sense and filled several gaps that the previous season had left for me.

What we didn't like

• We didn't like the role of Yennefer at all. For some reason, you would see her and she would turn her eye on you as if she were the villain of the series.
• Ciri's abrupt change. In the first season, we left her a little girl and in the second season, she became a teenage doll. The change was very abrupt and somewhat mismatched in relation to time.
• The Witcher Season 2 was released after two whole years which means that in a world with so many details we had almost forgotten what has happened in the first season. I personally filmed around and watched some episodes of the first season to be able to remember what had happened in the previous season.
• He didn't focus much on developing the story of the protagonists of Geralt and Ciri. For me personally, he could make some references to Geralt and Ciri's past and focus more on these two than on the general plot of the story.
• Although in general there were beautiful battles with the monsters, the monster battle was missing that could make a difference.
• The ears of the Elves were more than ridiculous as if they had bought fake ears from the fair to wear to the carnivals. Ok 2020 filmed the season could have done a better job there in production

What we would like to change in the next Season

• The third season is to come out in a year and not again after two years and forget about the whole plot.
• Bigger battles between armies and Witchers - Wizards something like the first season.
• Greater emphasis on character development, especially Ciri and Geralt

That was our assessment and I think they will very much agree with us.

In short, The Witcher Season 2 continued the amazing course it set out in the previous season and did not disappoint us. We suggest you check it out.
